The City of Kawartha
Lakes is a rural community in the heart of Central Ontario, Canada.
The Trent Severn Waterway bisects our fields and forests; abandoned rail
lines follow these lakes and rivers, travel across country through wet
lands, fields, and old pine forests and take detours to historic towns and
villages. This is an ideal place for all techniques of cycling.
Mountain, road, tandem, trail, cyclocross, BMX, recumbent, etc.
Join us in our cycling endeavours and take advantage of the many programs,
activities and additional benefits that The Kawartha Cycling Club (KCC) has
to offer.
Mostly, we ride our bikes (both on the road and in the woods), but we also are active in our community and engage in charitable activities.
Why would someone want to join The Kawartha Cycling Club? The growing popularity of outdoor cycling activities demands that people who share this common interest become organized for health, social, economic and political reasons. Read more
