The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride
Our own Brian Simpson rides from Vancouver to Halifax!
Stage Rides give riders of all abilities the opportunity to join the
National Riders along a well-supported routes. Festive Community Events
will take place at the start at select Sears locations in many cities.

Ontario Cycling Association Club Standings as of June 8th
KCC 48th out of 114 clubs at 159 points!
- 71 points mountain bike
- 16 points road racing
- 72 points youth cup
Youth Cup Points
The KCC stands 2nd in Youth cup points to the Peterborough CC.
As of June 8th Youth Cup standings:
- Phillip English Cadet 1st place
- Brandon Kennedy Squirt 1st place
- Taylor Kennedy Minime 11th place Excellent results!
2008 Vancouver BG Triathlon World Championships
- Janice Jones-Skinner placed 18th in her age group
- John Pickard placed 2nd in his age group Congratulations!!
Sprint Triathlons
- Linda Anderson placed 1st in her age group in Muskoka and 4th in Guelph. Well done Linda!
- Mountain bike race the “Ganaraska Gear Grinder" Dave Girolametto finished in 3rd place. Love that podium result!
Other News
Two of our Over-the Hill Wheelers - Mike Harding and Bill Yarnell -- have just completed their 916 mile ride from Land's End in the southwest corner of the UK (Cornwall -- leaving Monday June 8 at 9am) up to John O'Groats in the northeast corner of the UK (Scotland -- arriving 3pm yesterday, Friday June 20). Now that’s a ride!
